Hi,

I am travelling to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos for four months (a month in each) leaving lat May 2009. I was due to travel with some friends but they have now had to pull out so i am heading off by myself.Goin to try and experience a bit of everything, from visiting the temples of Angkor to relaxing on the beaches of Ko Sumi. If anyone is around the area at the same time and fancies having a travelling companion then let me know.

I'm doing similar - already in Thailand.

Started off in Pattaya but not that great for meeting travel buddies...a pretty crazy city!

 

I'm going to head round the other way, down the coast heading to Koh Samui etc & spending around a month there - then take it from there.Cambodia probably end of March when my 60 visa runs out.

 

Good luck with your trip...I was gonna say we could hook up for a beer but I'll be back in UK by the time you start your trip.

I'm flying out to bankok on June the 15th and am hoping to travel through the same countries; cambodia, vietnam and laos. My travel mate has also pulled out, so same situation! I haven't got as much time as you, so was hoping to spend about two weeks in each.....are you going to cambodia after thailand?

I go back to Vietnam this summer (24/07-24/08).

I'll stay in Sai Gon (Ho-Chi-Minh-City) for sure.

I'll be staying with my family as I have travelled (south to north and backward twice).
