India feb 2010- Help plan the route, come do the trip

Hi Guys, this forum doesn't seam to get much use, but i'm putting my plea out there in the hope that some cool soul, or many cool souls, will read it, like what they read, then join there trip with mine, or maybe even plan a trip they had not intended to take

so any way

I go to India ( Mumbai) on the 1/2/2010 ( all booked), I have 28 days and plan to see:

Jaisalmer -camel safari
Jaipur
udaipur
puskhar
agra
varanassi

Not necessarily in that order

the I'll flight from delhi about the 16/17 to spend some time in Goa, maybe in a retreat, mediation/yoga/treatments etc, for at least 3 days, then spend the rest of the time in a beach hut around palolem, arambol, and anywhere else beautiful I can find. I can drive a scooter and managed to navigate the indian roads from anjuna to arambol unscathed a few years ago, so plan on getting a bike to get around goa.

I'd love to meet up with a travel buddy, for at least  the rajastan leg of the trip, as I would prefer not be a lone female traveller in the north. Not just to save costs, but for saftey and overall enjoyment reasons. I'd like to have someone to gush over the taj about, and laugh at when they, or probably me fall of the camel in jaisalmer.

I'm all booked up and will be heading off to oz, at the end of feb, this will be the first leg of a 6 months trip.

I'm fairly well travelled, a good researcher, reliable, honest, have a silly cheeky sense of humour. and love india with a passion.

Read my profile, send me an email and if you want to travel with me, get in touch

If I write one more of these shout outs my fingers will fall off...I know your out there, hope to speak soon.x

My name is Misty. I just joined mango tree. I am very interested in traveling with you on part of your 6 month adventure. In Dec 2009 until March 2010, I am only working 7 to 8 consecutive days a month which leaves me alot of time off to do some traveling. I just went to an ashram in San Ramon, CA to see Amma (the hugging saint) & I am overjoyed that I was able to recieve her darshan (hug) & be in her presence. It was my first experience at an ashram. I have always wanted to travel to India. I have always loved Indian food, culture, music, and textiles. I even decorated my bedroom in an Indian/Morroccan theme. I am available to travel starting Dec. 30th through Jan 17. Then I need to return to California to work for 8 days. After that I'll be off for another 22 days. Let's chat & get to know one another better. ~peace, love & light~ Misty

Apart from Rajasthan, you could visit this Darjeeling (Queen of Hills) then Himachal Pradesh (State) Kullu n Manali, shimla, khajjiar which are very very beautiful hill station (if you are fond of it).. then a very amazin place is Leh Ladakh

apart from that you can try south india (kerela and other beaches, which are far cleaner then goa {but also lil expensive thn goa})..

Udaipur, Sajjangarh are some very nice plces to see in Rajasthan. Even Kutch in Gujarat if you are fond of Rajasthani kind of culture.

If you want a company hit me up you can read ma profile
