Hey Ginamarie, great idea! I am not a fan of the bar, club NY either. One of the best NY's has to be in Switzerland, we went up a mountain in a cable car, at the top there were teepee tents with bars in them selling mulled wine, huge bonfires, music, fireworks, skiing and the champagne cools it self, well actually freezes ! its cheap cheerful and different, all you need are a few good friends !!

I spent Dec 26-Jan 6, 2008-2009 in St. Maarten & it was just an outstanding trip.
I love going to warm climates during the winter.

I am hoping to travel this year for New Years, but haven't decided where yet.
I would love to join a group of fellow travelors.
I can leave Dec 29th & be away until Jan 18.
I thought about Central or South America.
Anyone interested?

I've been wanting to get certified in SCUBA. I've only dived once & that was in 30 ft of ocean in St. Maarten.
